1st time outsourcing hope you can help

Hi,

I've decided to finally bite the bullet and outsource my backlinking as frankly I don't have the time to do it.

I've was thinking about doing it on odesk as bestjobs.ph is not available to anyone outside of the philippines (though I would love to hire someone from that region to be honest).

Basically my point is this...

What would be a good ball park figure to pay someone to do some backlinking and key word research on regular basis?

I know this may seem like a 'dumb' question just never outsourced before and want to make sure I do it right and not mess it up.

I have hired 2 full-time people from the Philippines. They work 40 hrs/week. Their starting pay was $200/mo. Pay increases commensurate with their responsibilities.
Thus far, I am very pleased with my outsourcing experience.

I did find them from bestjobs.ph because I am a member of John Jonas's, ReplaceMyself dot com.

I would go to different outsourcing website like rentacoder, elance. Then search for previous projects with similar requirements and budget my project by comparing my projects with those.

I have worked with people from the philippines before, blog commenting and its an hourly rate at 3$ with 25 good comments per hour.

When I outsourced my backlinking I was looking at someone doing 10 backlinks an hour. The person who I outsourced to charges me $2 per 10 backlinks which I think is a good deal because he does a great job.

By the way, this is with me giving him the sites to put the backlinks on. I am sure it would cost much more if he had to find the sites too.

@Andy - that's a very good rate.

I use the Philippines for outsourcing, and this lady costs me about $8 for 10 backlinks, but I have to manually sift through the list of sites that she provides to me.

I'm trying to find 35/hour per work week, at a monthly price for $200-$250, but it is hard to tell from here how many other people they are working for. Finding a good reliable person is a little difficult but well worth it when you do find such a resource.
