I don't think many people understand this, but I hope I am not stating the obvious. 1. You can create a category in your blog called "feedburner". 2. You get the rss feed for just that "feedburner" category, for example: Dan-O Free Music Downloads » Feedburner 3. You set that rss up as your feedburner feed. 4. You get the email delivery set up under Feedburner -> Publicize -> Email subscriptions. 5. You only promote the Email Opt-in form for feedburner. I don't even promote my RSS feed - out of 1,600 subscribers only 1% use the RSS - the rest is email delivery. The great thing is that I blog all day - but only premium posts get checked off in the "feedburner" category for deliver to the list as a newsletter. |
