I suggest you to choose niche where you have enough knowledge and command and put 100% on it. This will help you write quality and informative blog posts as well.

these days I look at who is in the serps and what domain authority average the whole page is

if you use the techniques of using keyword planner you and millions and millions of other people are looking at this market all the same way

if you want to succeed you need to think out of the box

your going to find many saying domain authority is not the way to do this, but it works for me to find under exploited niches/keywords every time

otherwise your doing what every one else does and they are your competition

very few look at this the way I do to find low hanging fruit everytime

It's all about supply and demand. You can go to the google keyword planner and type in your subniches and get an idea of the demand for each.

It's what ever you want to get into....

      Hi,
Today, more than ever before, most niches are saturated.
If you plan to rely on free organic traffic from google you should have in mind that It is almost impossible to rank on google page 1 for major keywords in the niche, unless you have well established site with lots of quality content and back links.

HOWEVER you can still drive free traffic to your site (even if its a new site) if you find a few strong keywords that enjoy the ideal combination of lots of monthly search while the competition is still low.
Focusing on those keywords can do the job for you!

You can sell products on all of those topics, and just build a site strictly devoted to "self-development". Or you can create multiple products on each of these individual topics.

Me personally, i would choose a different niche. But if this is something that you enjoy talking about and is something that you can see yourself doing 10 years from now... then pursue it.

Beware of the fierce competition and leaders in this market.
