Lazy Affiliates

I'm currently using a software product which I really like and it's been working well for me. So, I decided why not become an affiliate for this product and set up a review site? I'm new to affiliate marketing and haven't really done it before.

I went to this product's website and signed up to be an affiliate. They had a TON of great tools; banners, graphics, and a pre-written review. It was all well done and I can tell this company knows what they are doing.

So, I go to google and type in "(product name) reviews." Up comes several review sites set up by various affiliates. This is where it gets quite funny. Almost ALL of the affiliates used the exact pre-written review text provided by the affiliate tools page. I click one site after the other and here it comes... the same verbiage followed by their affiliate link. Surely, affiliates can't be this lazy?

Now, I'm thinking I can do better than this. So I'm thinking I will buy a domain, something like www.productnamereviews.com and set up a website. I'll then provide detailed information about the product, how I used it, the benefits, my results.. sales etc. I'll even throw in some videos showing me using the product and how easy it is to learn.

Surely this will be a good way to rise above all those lazy affiliates. Anyway, I just couldn't believe how many of them were using the same pre-written text. Funny!
