Hi All,

I am in need of a logo and have recently been quoted around $500 usd for one and I just cant swing that at the moment. I have explored 99 Designs and seems pretty good, but also want feedback on using freelancer sites or other alternatives.

Thank you.

There are only around 100 logo designers listed on this site. Look under 'Warriors for Hire.'

Im sure someone will gladly rip you off for a logo.

Get it done for $20 on fiverr and sell it to YOU for $500.

    Hello Brian!
If you have low budget the best way for you would be - try to find designer at Freelancer.com. There are a lot of them and I'm sure you will be able to get good one within your Budget.

      Hey man,

Logos on Fiverr.com are crazy cheap. Never had problems with any of their work. You would pay between $5-$30 for a good quality logo, AND get a revision if you need! Give me a shout if you want the link to the guy I use on Fiverr.com

I would recommend fiverr.com for you logo design. Sign-up is free. Search for logo design. Check the categories for someone who does the type of logo you're looking o have done. Look for top rated or recommended vendors. Check out their prior work and reviews. Then make a choice. You may find their prices cheap enough to hire more than one for the same job so you can compare their work.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi Brian,
Like Richy I have used fiverr.com and got perfectly adequate logos created for under $20. Sometimes it may not work out but at least you haven`t wasted any money.

With very high competition on Fiverr the Gigs have improved in quality. The only problem is finding the right one you want.So in my opinion Fiverr is a place to check out if you want a quality logo made for relatively cheap amount.

Not as cheap as fiverr, but there are a bunch you can get in the <$200 range that are decent quality and not just rips of each other.

What kind of logo do you have in mind and how much budget do you have to spend on it?

If all you need is something simple that has representation to yourself i believe fiverr would be a good choice, its easy and affordable. Just read up on user reviews and look at their past works to get a good idea of what their style is like.

If you want something more customized to your tastes, 99 Designs is a great way to go. Having a group of designers scrambling to draw out a logo to suit your taste will definitely get you something you will like for sure. Only downside is that the price for this is much higher than fiverr, but then again, you get what you pay for...

I use Fiverr all the time, the most recent one I had done was this one SkyDriving Aviation Inc.

For $5 I got three options. Totally straightforward. At the end of the day can you get something better? For $500 yes, but will the logo convert traffic or will the copy?

You have to have 5 posts so you should be good to go for now. Using "Thanks" on the Warrior Forum

Don't worry about the thanks button though. You can just send your well wishes through PayPal.

I would definitely go to Fiverr first. Chances are, that is where the person who quoted you $500 is going to outsource it to anyway. Just look through the seller's feedback and previous work and you won't have anything to worry about

Its a good Idea, that you used the 99designs. If you need to top quality only, then you can use the 99designs competition. Otherwise you can use the Upwork, Warriors For Hire , freelancer, even you can use the Fiverr at a cheap rate. The 99designs work quality is excellent & rate is also big. Thanks for your advance.

Be very careful about using Fiverr and other low-end designers.

Many have been known to not have rights to the images and design elements they use in making logos. They use other people's work they find online, free or cheap images from stock photo sites (which is against their policies) and other designs that they simply rip off the Internet.

You might think that because the designer is the one using illegal images that you are safe and can't be held responsible.

      Wrong!

If the logo you own is made wholly or in part from copyrighted material you can be held personally responsible and good luck getting that logo designer from India to cover your costs or stand by you in a law suit.

      A word to the wise . . .

  • Hey here is a quick little cheat I use:

I search google for: Logo creator Online.

Then I click a site and go through the steps designing my logo,

at the End, instead of paying I use the ''Prt sc'' also known as ''print screen button'

Then open paint and press Ctrl V.

Only thing you have to do now, is cut out your logo, open a new paint file, paste the logo and save.

    Voila !

Fiverr is a great place to start. That's where i get some of my graphic designs from. Or if you want to hire someone from WarriorForum, start searching in Warriors For Hire section. And you can also find people from doing a simple Google search. Don't be afraid to spend money on something that can help you to look professional and stand out.

I second fiverr. Had many logos and ecovers made there and never had any complaints.

Before putting an order in just check the samples the seller has available and check the feedback they've been given by others buyers.

    Check out Fiverr.

You may find the basic $5 gigs won't cut it but but for $20-$30 you can't go wrong with the right designer, just be sure to check out their previous work and reviews first .

I would highly recommend you use a logo creator. I have released many products in the past and have had a lot of logos done but boy was that stuff expensive I must have spend thousands of dollars.

I tried creating them myself but honestly, none of them came out the way I wanted them to. I recommend you find a inexpensive software to create the logos for you. I did a Brandrr Review, and for the price of the software it well worth the investment.

Design your own logo at Canva.com.

It's Free! You can even input your own dimensions.

I made my header logo for sellitfast.tk in just a few minutes.

It's the blue bar under the title. The dimensions are 1200 x 40.

It's nothing fancy but it works well with the site.

Guys the OP was back in July 2015. I'm sure they made a decision long ago.

Please check the dates before posting. (I know, I have made this mistake myself and responded to resurrected posts...now I try to check first.) There are some people who have heard somewhere that dredging up old threads is somehow a great marketing method.

To those people: NO IT'S NOT. Stop doing it. You are contributing nothing.

      Hey Chief,

It might help other people looking through the threads at a later date. What makes you think a thread has to stop helping folks?

Keep posting as long as you are helping and not being a jerk or promoting something that has no reason for being there.

Yes, very helpful that every other post on this page says fiverr.

Because of course, everyone is reading all the responses here and no one had already mentioned it.

My advice is to go to Fiverr find a highly rated Logo Designer that offers unlimited revisions and hire them. Make sure to review their portfolio to get a feel of their style/capabilities.

I would highly recommend Fiverr.com and if it's your first time there - put in the search box exactly what it is you are looking for and I would also recommend you go for a gig that has been put together by a Top Rated Seller - ensure you check their buyer reviews as that will give you a good idea how good they are

I would like to chime in too. I was struggling to come up with a logo on my own.

Since I wasn't getting anywhere, I decided to go to fiverr. It was the best decision I could have made.

The end result was way better that anything I could have come up with and I got it in less than 24 hours (your mileage may vary).
