New clickbank analytics frustrating

Anyone else experiencing some mishaps with the new click bank analytics?

In the past two days I have a order form submit count of 4 yet my gross sales profit is 3 sales.

Now i tried to think of a logical conclusion like the person's credit card did not go through but when i checked my awstats page i noticed that the product on my thank you page had been downloaded 4 times not 3 therefore meaning the transaction must of been approved since the user had gone to the thank you page to access the product.

Anyone experiencing similar problems with the new analytics?

    Hi,

It doesn't seem to be working.

I checked my stats using the new setup and then used the link at the left hand side of the page to get the previous format for the stats, and the figures were completely different.

The new stats were much lower than the old style stat reporting, so something is clearly wrong with the service.

The analytics are not working for me. It shows nothing under "Vendors," and there is no way that is true. I guess they have to work out the kinks.

The new stats weed out bots, so they should better reflect the number of real visitors you are getting.

It won't list vendors or tracking IDs for me at all. The only way I can see them is in pie chart form, which is certainly not my preference.

The day of the change it said I had no product views at all. However I checked analytics for many of my products elsewhere and it showed me I had over 120 views for the day. I also showed some 4 or 5 form clicks on my stats today it actually showed me some of the views. However with the 4-5 form clicks I did not receive a single sale. The only thing I can think of for the form clicks is that the products sales pages do not show the price of the item on the sales page. So they are going to the buy page and seeing a price of around 100-200 and clicking away or backing out to the next product on my list. I personally do not trust clickbank but they do have the best products for me to promote. I may have to check around to a few of the other sites I belong to I do like click bank however for the weekly pay vs others only paying you say once a month or I have one where you get paid 45 days from the sale. So if you made the sale on say the 15th of this month for a commission of 15$ and that was the only sale for that day you would get 15 on the 30th of the next month. Where as click bank stacks the sales and you always get paid on the same time either every week or biweek.

What's funny is that this is a product I created and I check the awstats on my page and i seen 4 downloads of my product but only 3 credited sales that's what makes no sense to me. Hopefully they will work out or give some explaination for the difference between order form submission and gross sales.

Yep, I'm also having some trouble. It's confusing, it's crap. Why didn't they just leave the old analytics, they were good enough that way.

Isn't there a clickbank forum or something were we can just tell them they're stupid and that they should just put back the old ways?

lol not that I know of but you can send them an e mail requesting they change the analytics back to their od ways.

I just checked mine, and it appears to be working for me now.

All the vendor IDs are now showing. Ditto for the tracking IDs. So, I don't have to rely on the pie charts for stats!

Looks like maybe they rolled this thing out before it was ready for prime time. Either that, or the problems crept in when they rolled it out to everyone.

Found this on the clickbank site, it may answer some questions...

Q: Why does my number of Order Form Submits not match my Gross Sale Count?
A: There are several reasons that an order form submit may not turn into an order including (1) the customer didn't enter all the fields correctly and (2) the customer's method of payment was declined. When a customer doesn't enter the fields correctly, which happens more often, our order form is designed to help customers to enter the correct information as efficiently as possible.
Q: What happened to my trend chart?
A: A trend chart may be hidden from clicking on the Hide Chart link in the upper right of the page. Simply click the Show Chart link to reverse this action.
Q: Why is my Gross Sale Count higher than my Order Form Submit Count? How is this possible?
A: Subscription sales have a recurring billing element that initiates a sale without the customer visiting the ClickBank order form at each recurring time period. For example, a monthly recurring product sold on June 1 required a customer to purchase through the ClickBank order form on June 1. However, on July 1, the customer is automatically billed without visiting the ClickBank order form. For a selected time period, an account may have more recurring billing sales than new sales requiring a visit to the order form.
Q: Why am I seeing improper Customer Countries in my reports?
A: In certain instances, a Customer Country is determined by the IP address the customer is using. Each IP address belongs to a country, or in some cases, a Satellite Provider, or a generic region like Europe or Asia Pacific or Anonymous. However, most IP addresses are assigned to a country.
Q: What is an automated Internet robot and how does it impact my Hop and Order Form Impression data?
A: An automated Internet robot (also commonly known as a spider) is a piece of software that requests a webpage from the Internet (not a human user). Many search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, and thousands of others) use automated Internet robots to index the entire Web for the purpose of providing users an enhanced searching experience. At ClickBank, we have decided to filter these automated visits from our reporting so our users can get a clearer picture of human traffic generated from their business efforts.
Q: Why is my sale not showing in the Analytics tool?
A: Please check the Last Updated Data box on the left hand side of the reporting page. This will provide you with when your information was last loaded into the Analytics tool. The sale you are looking for may be too recent to be available at this time.
Q: Why will the trend chart not display the selected time period?
A: You are required to select a time period and then click the Go button in order to change the time period.
Q: Why do the Original Analytics metrics not match the new Analytics tool?
A: Original Analytics and New Analytics do not collect data on the same schedule and will likely not be in sync with each other; they also compute Hop traffic differently (see question above regarding automated Internet robots).
Q: Why did my Net Sales data change since the last time I ran the report?
A: Net Sales may change because of recent refunds or chargebacks that are now included in the timeframe you selected.
Q: Why are my sales totals by category greater than by product?
A: A site listed in two Marketplace categories will include sales totals for each category, which causes your sales metrics to double.

Have a Gross Sale Count of 3....Have an Order form Submit Count of 7..........

I hate these damn stats. Am I to assume those 3 people were retarded and each one had to enter in their information twice, with one being a complete idiot and doing it 3 times) ?????

    OR

Is it that I really got 7 sales and am only being credited for 3.....

    • Glad I found this thread. Suddenly, my gross sales and order submits are out of whack. My question is whether or not that is how a declined payment would appear?

The info Vanquish posted puts my mind at ease.

I also notice the same thing. I have a order sumbit count of 3 but only 2 sales is recorded. However, what I find more frustrating is the number of people viewing the order page but don't actually buy.
