Hey warriors,

I was able to rank my video in google+youtube for a super competitive keyword. its being there for the last 2 months.

Question: How do i keep it up there as long as possible?

should i do more backlinking, social shares?

Yes, you can do it. Beside these you can try to increase your video viewer/ traffic. Even you can hire any freelancer from any freelancing market place.

Get the video shared virally, that will keep it in that position for a while.. try going to relevant videos in youtube and put some comments with the link pointing to your youtube video..This method is very powerful and can keep your video on the top of the google for a while.

Since it is number 1 you should watch and see if you see a drop in rankings then you can apply more backlinks and social shares etc. Be careful you don't build these links too quickly because your video will dance out of the top ten quickly.

Social shares may be good and increasing video activity eg subscriber, likes, favorites etc. However, you need to be careful when buying Youtube views lest you get your video pulled down. All the best.
