Is the I.M questions Getting Better or is it The Rum Pizza I Had Last Night?

It this really happening or is it the Rum Pizza I had last night?

In the past couple of weeks I've noticed the questions getting better in this I.M Section. Better meaning more specific, detailed and targeted.

I'm seeing fewer ...
  • What would you do if you're desperate?
  • What if you only had $_________ how would you spend it?
  • I'm broke, with no skills or interest how can I succeed?
  • If you started over what would you do ___________________?
  • What's a Niche?
Type questions. And many of the other favorite routine questions we all have come to shake our heads at.

Now I'm noticing more of the questions deal with more specific issues. Questions that show the person has done at least "some" basic work or research.

I notice more questions asking about specific techniques, methods, marketing strategies, programs, websites and policies. This may just be a break in the action, a glitch or more people hearing the cry of masses. But I like it.
Agree or Disagree?

You may be right, it's just something I've noticed recently. For instance look at most of today's threads. Most are pretty specific.

Few if any routine repeats that's already been asked a hundred times. In fact I'm seeing more questions that I've never seen before, plus I'm reading more people make that statement as well. Like I said it could just be a glitch, more people using the search function, a team effort by the mods or a combination of all the above. Not saying it's perfect, but notice an improvement, let's see if it sticks or maybe gets even better.

I only just joined but looking around the forum there seems plenty to get your teeth into and lots of people with a great breadth of knowledge to tap into. I like what I see, and as long as people keep sharing their ideas and methods and helping others out with their questions I will be a happy bunny.

The Red Sox had a little winning streak going a few weeks ago. I took it as a sign of things turning around. Look at where they are now.

True. I was just observing the change in the "chickens sudden behavior" for the past week or two.

Ha, ha ... Finally someone who agrees with my observation ...whew!
So I'm not (totally) crazy after all! That is unless you had Rum pizza today too!

I see your point and considered it ("The Rose Colored Glasses Theory"). That's why I looked twice at the threads for the past week or two and noticed them getting more direct, specific and varied. I haven't seen that in a long time.

More of the questions seem to come from people whose either researched, read or is doing something involved in the topic. Not just an arm chair "question person" asking something that could be answered with a simple Google, W.F or dictionary search in most cases. I've seen a few but not nearly as many as in the past.

I think it's natural for the overall knowledge of a community to move forward as a whole. Over time the information gets more optimized, people learn faster etc.
