Who to use to process pmt of trial and paid membership setup?

I found out today that I could not use 2checkout.com for a trial and then paid membership setup. I don't want to use paypal, because of some of the problems some people have had.

Anyone have suggestions of good places to work with? I could not find it through searching
the forum either.

I do use dlguard, so if something can be used along with that, that would be great.

    Hi Jeannie,

    You can do $1 , 30 day trial with 2checkout.com by putting a negative price in the setup field for the product. For example you're selling a product for $19.95 per month, enter -18.95 as the setup fee and for the first month, the customer will be charged only $1.

    Thanks Kavi, I did talk to 2checout and found that out. I wasn't clear enough.
    I could use them for a lower price month that way.

    This is an instance where I wanted to do a one week trial. The membership is being introduced at $199, so I did not want to give away a months worth at say $4.95
