Aweber Links being Reported as Attack Pages

Hi all,

Is it just me or are clicks through Aweber emails being reported as attack pages? Can anyone else confirm this?

Does this happen often? I've just signed up with Aweber and having my list see pages like that is really worrying.

I can't confirm that, but I've had an uneasy feeling about aweber for a while now and I can't put my finger on it... why not switch to mailchimp if you're concerned?

    Hi,
Yes, I can confirm it's happening to all of my links as well.

This looks really bad for Aweber, not to mention the people who use and rely on it for their business. This could cause huge numbers of unsubscribes from everyone's lists and permanently tarnish a business's reputation.

Can confirm; it's happened in the emails I get from a trusted source.

Did they get hacked or something?

I can confirm that as well. And I got solo ad orders to deliver so it is not good.

Just took a quick look at their Twitter feed and as an Aweber user was glad they have responded to this issue on their status reporting sub domain

AWeber Status an excerpt is below that summarises the issue

"...We have identified an isolated incident of a website that uses AWeber has been infected by malware. As a response, Google has marked all links from AWeber customers using click tracking (redirecting through clicks.aweber.com) as potential malware..."

  • Sounds like a hack job. Anything on Aweber's site about it?

Happened a lot to a friend of mine, who because of this now switched to Infusionsoft.
