What Do You Think Are The Best Ways To Promote A New Business?

I would say, it all depends on your type of business and what is the goal, but it is always good to have::

1. Website - non Flash
2. Blog
3. Online Advertising
4. e-postcards

    I would also add (unless this falls under advertising) a strong social media presence like twitter, facebook ect.

    And to get listed in various local area websites like the yellowpages, google maps, GPS systems , ect..

      I must agree online presence is a must... But having a website is not enough. You have to be visible as much as possible. Since you're promoting a new business, why not start on something less expensive but effective like search engine optimization, social media marketing or Blog Posting?
