Have one website with three monetisation methods: My plan for the next 2 to 4 years

Right now I have one website that targets the sports audience. My plan to monetize it is by:

1. Affiliate Marketing with listbuilding
2. Adsense
3. Wholesale private label products, promote thru Amazon FBA and my site as well.

Would that be considered "putting your eggs in one basket?"

Before I move to building another site, I really want to succeed with this one first. It's a sports website that is growing daily via different social media platforms.

My comment would be that the steps you point out, 1,2 and 3 are not necessarily related. Affiliate marketing and building an email list to market to is indeed a proven online business model. Having adsense on a site will also generate income. I have not been involved with adsense for many years but I was once told by google that I could not put adsense ads on my site if I had any affiliate links on the site.Things may be different now.

I am a huge fan of FBA and setting up my FBA business is the best online venture I have done. I do not see how it is in anyway related to having a sports blog or any website. Amazon's site is where the traffic is and where your sales will come from.

One other comment is that "sports" is a very broad term and to target it niche I would suggest focusing on certain sports or even just one sport. You could never encompass all sports

In regards to the sports remark I already have that part covered. And no I am not encompassing all sports.

for me ....I just concentrate just one site..

it take times man....also is a bit to maintain various site...

UNLESS of course you outsource ....every time from content to back link , SEO ...

I split ...one site is for my passion also adsense mixture with click bank and amazon.

the rest I more on affiliate on IM products.
