To post WSO on Weekends or Weekdays - Which one generates more sales...

Just wondering, does it matter when you post your WSO?

From those who have tried posting or bumping on weekends, does it give you lesser sales coz presumably people are offline and not necessarily in the mood of doing business?

Let me know.

    Good question Patrick

I'd say that it doesn't really matter in the long run. I think for a WSO to be successful you can't look at it as a way to generate tons of sales fast in one bumping period.
You have to optimize your salespage and your whole thread in a way that's attractive for the potential customers.

It's not just about the salespage on the second you start the thread.

Think of your WSO thread as real estate.
The salespage is the front of the building (let's say for example it's a store).
You get your building up and design it in a way for the potential customers to hopefully step in. Then you have the inside of the building (the thread - comments from customers and your replies)

Connect with your potential customers replying on your thread. Answer their questions. Be honest and upfront. Make your replies reflect the fact, that you believe 100% that the people who do buy your WSO get their money worth + more.

Keep optimizing your salespage as your thread builds. Add testimonials, change things around. See what works better. Change the price to see if it converts more.

Do a bump. See how many sales you get. Does it pay for the $20 to bump?
Should you increase the price / lower the price? How many sales and how much money are you getting every time your WSO is on page 1?

Try to think of your WSO as a living creature that you must nurture to be successful.

So I'd really say it doesn't matter if it's the weekend or the weekday. Just keep consistently building your WSO thread. If it converts well, you can have a very nice income stream. If you can't make a WSO thread convert profitably then you can always try with another product.

Just make sure you have a high quality product and the customers get their money's worth and more.

Hope this gives you some ideas,

    MeelisM

That's similar to asking, "when should I email my subscribers, in the afternoon, in the morning, at night?"

It doesn't matter. If your product is any good, it will sell and people will spread the word about it. If it's not good, it won't sell, no matter how many eyeballs you have, looking at your offer.

Focus on the quality of the WSO, customer service, and sales will come in naturally.

      Top notch tips Lucian!

In the long run, it's really difficult to say which approach is better. The timing is another factor as well -- you can launch early in the morning and get lots of eyeballs on your WSO, but it won't last very long as typically it'll get bumped down and off the first page fairly quickly, whereas if you launch in the evening, it'll stay there for a longer period but you'll get less traffic (though you'll remain on the first page longer).
