Check out Atjeu LLC Website Hosting | . I've been using them for more than 6 years without any problem. Very fast support and affordable servers.

    Regards,

Site5 is fabulous I have been with them for 3yrs. superior support, I can recall 2 times when I had some server issues they lasted less than an hour and were resolved while I was on live chat.

How about godaddy? I am just scared of sites I have never even heard of. I have already changed hosting twice in few months...and I don't want to change again. I am looking for windows, dedicated hosting.

GoDaddy isn't all that good at hosting. They're decent enough if you want to do a quick family photo album site or a personal blog but they really aren't setup to handle large scale hosting.

High bandwidth Windows dedicated hosting will be a bit trickier to find than high bandwidth LAMP hosting, at least at a good price. You may want to look at local to you co-location deals to see if that will be a better fit for you. That's what most of my Windows Server corporate clients do. This isn't cheap though. Beyond that, I'd recommend asking around at some of the ASP.NET forums to see what they suggest.

Nitro server is way too expensive. Let me talk to their support.

I am using Liquidweb. I am using their VPS plan for my online store, which costs me $50 per month. My online store never down since I moved to Liquidweb and their customer services is the best.

I also have hosting accounts with hostgator, ixwebhosting and siteground. I use these accounts for simple niche blogs. But if you are looking for high-end hosting, I would recommend Liquidweb.

I used GoDaddy before, but didn't like it.

We utilize Server Intellect for VPS. It isn't the same as dedicated, but similar benefits at a lower cost.

Rackspace cloudsites - $100pm, insane support and great bandwidth/storage space, 100% scalable and uptime is 100% too. Just be sure to run all of the applications you intend to use past their tech support first. You will want to make sure your site is 100% efficient too (no memory leaks) because you can't ask them to reset IIS (very important!). I'm rebuilding a large site with over 50,000 streamed media files and we are going with this solution. When we outgrow cloudsites then we will go dedicated cloud services.

    Hi jkiley,

Personally I use sites that I have heard of and that have been around for a while...like HostGator and GoDaddy. They have good 24/7 support, which some of the smaller crowds don't.

We have a private cabinet at theplanet for our servers which is nice...

    Softlayer is also really good.

I don't think I would look further than Theplanet, Softlayer, and maybe rackspace (generally overpriced)

I am looking at hostgater and media temple for dedicated hosting (windows), but can't decide.
Only go with hostgator if you want to do business with the company... realize that they just buy in bulk from theplanet and act as a middle man. I would recommend going direct to the planet.

I use Server Beach, and have for... geez, five or six years. Previously, I was with Blueberry Hill, who were decent enough.

atjeu is solid in hardware and uptime. MY only issues with them were in support. Not all that helpful. Tickets were answered pretty quickly but not very proactive. Hard to give you a suggestion without knowing the kind of site plus your budget. Medialayer (seperate from mediatemple) has done some nice custom packages on dedicateds in the past. Really like litespeed for high traffic sites that use Wordpress or for busy forums and they were one of the first to specialize in that.

  • I have used ThePlanet for about one year, 6 months ago, and did not have any problems with them at all. Their support was always around, and their servers are definitely not cheap whitebox servers, so that means less server troubles. I've moved on to my own private cabinet with another company in LA, so can't say how they are now, but I'm sure they haven't changed

Also, another co is Peer1 (These guys are top in anything regarding servers.) They put quality before anything else. Their prices are a bit high, but well worth it. Them and RackSpace...Have tried them both and can safely say you can't go wrong with them.

Hmm Ive never personally used high end servers so I cant really reccommend anyone based on personal experience, although I have clients who say good things about hostgator. Myself I use one.com, they are great but the cp is basic. I had 100% uptime last year and for 3mb space including annual domain registration the cost is £20 per year (first year was half that) I would reccommend one.com heartily for anyone looking for reliable low cost hosting. also they have 24 hour live chat support.

No I wouldn't classify Hostgator as high end. Its actually shared budget hosting. High end on shared hosting should have much lower limits of users per box. In fact come to think of it shared hosting might not be real high end at all except where its close to semi dedicated.

Another one not mentioned very often that many Clickbank marketers use and highly recommend is SiteGround!

They offer lots of great tools and resources but some added setup charges if you don't pay annually seems to deter many to HostGator. HostGator's simple monthly payment option with no added costs works just fine with similiar full featured hosting plans, great tools and resources with no annual investment required...

      Filezilla isn't a hosting
It's a FTP client - a tool to upload your files to server

My "computer genius" friend told me that MediaTemple is a good idea even if they ask abit much because they have Tier IV datacenters, and they can handle huge amounts of traffic very well.

    So, idk...I think they're good
