Quick questions regarding Conversion Rates

Ok so let's say that I have an online course regarding Internet Marketing, with perfect videos, really nice landing page, a lot of case studies, examples, live results and webinars and more. And I decide to sell this course for a very low price of $39.

What Conversion Rate can I expect from this course? According to my advertiser, he told me my CR needs to be above 0.5% in order to achieve profit, Is that doable? Audience are strictly targeted to niche.

If we take you at your word on EVERYTHING you said, then 0.5% is certainly doable. But I will warn you that most of the people who say they have all those things really don't; they have generic copy that thousands of others are trying to promote as well. That means you'll never rank anywhere and you'll have to earn every click/sale...which means that all the other stuff is virtually worthless.

So if you're an experienced internet marketer that's great at driving traffic AND you 100% believe in the product, then it's worth doing. But if you already had that knowledge, then you wouldn't be asking us in the first place. So I'd say it's a definite pass.

I've seen conversion rates on landing pages range from less than %.5 to +65%. It really just depends on a lot of things like traffic, product, offer, industry, etc.

I'd say (as a guess) that you should be able to achieve that goal. However you won't really know until you put it up and test it out.

Marko, unless you've been successful yourself no one will be interested. There's a thousand more people trying to push a product they have never really had success in themselves. So I kind of have to agree with what kk said about if that were true, you wouldn't be asking that question.

There's multiple posts daily "I'm going to sell a course about Internet Marketing" So I would like to know " Insert basic IM question here".

People WILL see through this. I'm not saying it to be mean, but you're not the first one who's tried this. So as long as you know that, if you truly believe in it go for it and see what happens.

  • I would say it will vary and much depends on the traffic. Generic, low conversion. targeted higher conversion.

    It depends on the offer!

If the offer is good conversion can be 8% or more regardless of graphic design and copy.

Thanks for the reply guys. So far Ive been using blackhat aff marketing and I've had pretty good success(sometimes over 1000% ROI), however I really want to move to whitehat. I only gave an example what the course will be, something like http://fizzle.co funny entertaining and cheap. Not million dollars a month ebook or get quick rich schemes like those crappy ClickBank offers.

Traffic will be super targeted as well and my advertiser will make sure of that as in the past he has been getting me very converting traffic. According to his calculations anything above 0.5% CR is profit. That's why I just wanted to ask if it's worth trying as it's a huge project for me.

      Regards
