Hi guys, I was looking at different table border options yesterday and I came across a few I have never seen before... They are dot-dash, dot-dot-dash, wave, inset... a few I've never seen... Then I tried to use them on some of my table borders, but I could not get them to work, for the life of me. Am I doing something wrong or are these table border variables not available in all cases??? It really threw me off when it wouldn't work. Any ideas, comments, suggestions??? Thanks in advance, Jamie |

Hi Tommy... thanks for replying... I don't have it up on a page, I was messing around with my HTML editor to see if they would work... While that could possibly be the problem, some of the other ones I've never seen did work. Like the 'double' one worked and gave me double lines around the border, but the rest would not work... ... trying to find that darn page now ... UURRGGHH, I can't find the page yet/right now, but it may have to do with CSS like you suggested. I'll keep looking for the page.......... |

Not all border types are supported by all browsers, and especially not supported for display in all editors. When you're trying them out be sure to test in at least FF and IE and don't rely on your editor to display properly, as they many times won't. |

That link is a working draft spec. Maybe the support just is not there in all browers as someone said above. TomG. |
