Sharing accounts without giving pass by using firefox portable ?

Hi,

There are some time consuming tasks that I want my va to do for me. He needs to login to some websites to perform some actions everyday but I don't want he to know the account password so can I use firefox portable to login to the websites first and check remember box then give him that firefox? I want to make sure it safe because these accounts are important.

Yes, you can do it with FF Portable. Just make sure you test it your self before you give it to your VA. Use an other PC to test it with different IPs to make sure your FF portable setting is safe. And certainly you will always need to change your password regularly after each project has been completed (if you want to stay out of any risk in the future).

Can you set up a new user account for your VA on each of your websites with restricted permissions for your VA to do what is needed without compromising your own Master user account?

Try Last Pass. Able to share and revoke access instantly, hide passwords etc.

@superowid: what I'm afraid is after a while, the cookies will expired and then the sites will ask for pass. I don't know how to keep the cookies live forever?

@CliffUK: if these websites have master accounts option then it's easy for me but unfortuanately they don't

@vedremo: I'm thinking of Lastpass but if you click on My lastpass vault you can access all the sites and see all passwords has been set.
