Hire Freelancer or Company ! which one is better ?

With a company, bulk tasks are (typically) accomplished within the shortest time. The company also provides a collection of experts with varied experience who are well-versed in professional protocol and industry standards. For these basic reasons, the company may attract attention and trust more so than the sole freelancer or service provider -- even with the propensity for higher fees. And despite conflicting reports, more pay is still associated with better quality.

With the individual freelancer, consistent quality is a given -- whether its bad or good -- especially within a particular expertise. The freelancer, for example, could be a retired professional who has mastered a specific trade while working for a large company. Detached from that company, this same person is free to dispense accumulated knowledge to whoever demands it -- on a more intimate level at that.

But regardless of the source, the bottom line will always remain with who can provide timely work and sufficient quality. The challenge thus shifts from deciding between a company and a single freelancer to deciding between persons who offer the best quality. Whether an online company or an individual provider, what matters at the end of the day is the result.

TL;DR: It's the portfolios and references that matter.

I totally agree with nmwf as I have discovered that many lone freelancers although they may give the quality you want, sometimes have problems with delivery.
Sudden ailments and personal crisis are offered as excuses, but who can tell? Maybe they overstretched themselves or could not cope with the job in the first place. Either way, it holds up your product.

Going with a company will have a project manager/s looking after their reputation and thus your project.
This will also assist you in the future to get bugs ironed out in the final product and you will not be given the: I delivered and you paid so I am done, kind of treatment.

Work out what jobs you need to get done and then decide if a company is a better option or different individuals who have strengths in specific areas you need.

Just as an example, I am a writer/proofreader/editor. I work on my own and produce good quality work. However, if you need programming or other tasks done, I am NOT your man.

So you can tick off the writing aspect of the work. Then find others and check out what they can do. Then slowly you'll build a team that will help you accomplish your goals.
