B.L.A.C.K.HAT Rename ?

So it's no secret that I run Black hat digest.com. It's been around since before the term black hat started looking like it was just about theft, warez, etc...

I've getting ready to merge a few of my sites into a "bootcamp", and since I pretty much teach a whitehat/black hat approach to everything I'd love to just subdomain off of black hat digest. Kind of worn out keeping up multiple blogs, and services so I'm going to combine things regardless.

However, I'm thinking it would turn many people off - just having the BH in the name.

Thoughts, ideas? Do you have a problem with something like:
black hat digest Bootcamp?

Black hat bootcamp is that a correctional facility where google sends all the banned people to bring them back into the light?

That name doesn't bother me. To me it says something secret, sneaky, or little known, not illegal. I kind of like it actually.

BlueFart Bootcamp would be much catchier :-)

Besides I don't think BlueFart digest sounds all that appealing

Is the term Hat identifiable enough?

You might go with All Hat Boot Camp

If people already identify with your digest brand though you might as well stick with it and just add bootcamp to the end as I am sure it will be acceptable... to most.

But if you are trying to target a market that feels Black is negative and will only respond to white then you may want to go with another domain.

I think you should change it, that name could well be detering good volumes of potential visitors, I think if it was called whitehat digest it would do better, but since thats not strictly true how about "grey hat"? a mixture of the two, hey if the hat fits, wear it
