Just wondering what is the situation now with Adsense? Are they still a good ad network? Do they still ban without giving any reasons?

Adsense is definitely good if your going to monetize a blog/website. They still have high payouts and very easy to use. However, if you do mess with their TOS you will most likely get banned without a reason. But if you follow their rules you will see great results working with adsense

    Cheers,

yeah, they still is very good ad network compare to others. I am with adsense from past one year and never had any problem. If you violate their terms they will suspended your account. So, make sure you monitor your adsense account very carefully especially on the traffic of your adsense enabled site.

Still good, the situation is fine, and NO they do not ban without a reason.

There is ALWAYS a reason. It might not be the reason youlike or think that is fair...but there always is

I think they used to ban without giving a specific reason. Sometimes it could be unintentional from our point of view or even due to third party actions?

They might not "give" a reason, but like discrat said, "there is always a reason"

It happened to my friend. He was banned without reason even though he didn't do anything wrong nor violating their TOS. I would not recommend using them in the long term for revenue generation. Affiliate programs are a good to go.

If you're a long standing member then you get more leeway. My friend is forever getting slapped for having adult related content on his site, but somehow they like him and give him time to get his site in order.

I suspect you get more leeway if your site converts well and your problems are more due to user generated content than anything you've personally done wrong.

I also like AdSense because it makes me cash. I've tried Peerfly but it's just so poor at making me money by comparison to AdSense.

If you want to use any site, you must obey the rules & regulations of the site. At the same way if you really want to use the Adsense, you must follow the terms & Conditions of the authority. If you obey the rules & regulations of a site, they will never ban you. You are valuable to the site.

Adsense works great. They don't ban people for no reason. They ban people for not following their terms and conditions and a lot of factors are at stake.

Your speaking with someone who was earning well over $500 per day with adsense and I had my account suspended. Wake up to find a $15,000 month income gone!

Everybody told me I should sue them. lol only that mindset!

no instead of spending all my time suing them I learned what I did wrong and moved on.

If your trying to make some money online and have a blog or something that is getting at least 2000 daily views then you can make some ok money with a little optimization with the placement of your ads.

or, or you could work on supplying the marketplace with a product that is in demand and make some good affiliate commissions. Do you want to earn cents or dollars for your effort?

Why do you feel you would be entitled to a warning??? This is the problem with the mindset of many folks here.

Always ensure your website is on webmaster tools, it does give advanced warning. That being said, don't ever try click fraud.

I had my adsense account since 2008, it is still operating well. I only got 2 phone calls from google adsense team in my country only twice. Luckily it is not a warning but to advise me how to better optimize my earnings but adjusting the position of my ads.

So i think it is a good option of monetizing your website.

The ban hammer is never too far!

You think you're ok and then BANG!
Then try to contact them if it happens (good luck...)

They banned me due to the actions of a third party. Somewhere, about four hard drives ago, I have an email admitting that.

I stayed banned, and still am almost 10 years later. The reason they gave, and I later understood, was that I still represented a risk to their advertisers. The parties that click-frauded me out of the program could easily do it again.

My first warning was trying to log into my account, only to get a page that said the account had been suspended. It took several months of patient emailing to get an explanation.

I only lost a couple of hundred dollars, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Changes in the Adsense program were already making it much less profitable (especially when they de-linked the content and search networks). The ban forced me to seek other means of monetization, which have actually paid me far more than I was making with Adsense at the time of the ban.

Putting ads up on your site in order to monetize is always the last resort. You should exhaust all other options first IMO.

AdSense is probably one of the best money-making resources available, assuming you have a web site appropriate for it. I've probably made close to a million dollars with it since it began. They do not terminate you for no reason -- there's always a reason (e.g. getting all your friends to click on your ads).

By having an appropriate web site in a niche for which Google has AdSense ads, you'll always make money, assuming you get decent traffic. No traffic = no money. You won't make AdSense money if you have a web site about Tropical Fish in Fiji. Google will have few if any advertisers with ads about that niche. Even if they do, they won't pay much.

I feel Adsense earnings is " subjective " despite you optimise the ad placement , size

also target countries as we all know different countries different earnings....

traffic is one thing another more important is the CLICK.

Vistors " won't click the ads put yourself as a visitors go others websites how many times you click those ads on their site? " same apply for us having a site with adsense , and other ads.

We just " take and give " just get Traffic not doubt and see what happen ..and yes target audiences of course.

I noticed ..sometimes I only got 100 + page view ..can earn slightly more than one day having 1k page view..I check is the CLICKS because in those 100 page views there are more clicks than 1k page view with just One click .

Adsense is good . But I agree with you. I have also heard that Adsense banned account without any reasons. I never faced such problem but one of my friends has faced this problem. If you are having problem with Adsense than you can go of alternatives of Adsense.

From personal experience, I would high recommend against jumping on Adsense if your traffic is low. Adsense like any other company ( Amazon, eBay, ... etc ), will not hesitate into cut you off without doing something wrong ( there are easy way to kick someone from Adsense in less than 24 hour , and without him doing something wrong ), does Adsense care if that your fault, short answer would be no.

When you tend to offer for them a high value, they tend to bother warn you first before unplug the life out of your site.

There are many ways to make money online as an affiliate, and many alternative to adsense, if you think adsense is your best choice, don't get started with them, and don't get yourself hocked on them either.

In my humble opinion, Google is some of the most corrupt people out there (within the online marketing industry of course).

How many accounts that have reached the $50,000/month margin do they ban on a monthly basis? How many of them are completely filled with cash when they conduct the "punishment"?

I know Google hates blackhatters, but robbing a man of his monthly income doesn't seem too ideal to me - what about you guys?

All in all, yes; they still ban people for nothing lol.
