Greetings... I've been provided with a banner ad for an affiliate product I market...it is in gif format...is there an easy way for me to add my affiliate link so that when someone clicks on the banner, it goes to my affiliate site? Thanks in advance for any help... tom |

Yes, but it depends upon what you are using to create your page with In your page add your banner as an image and you will get a dialogue box where you can insert your hyperlink easy peesy! |

You can also use this html code <A href="http://www.your-affiliate-link-here.com"><IMG border=0 src=http://link-to-your-image-here.gif></A> Ok, that's not as easy as Shana's answer :-) But it's an option. Dave |

So Shana...this is an ad that I will actually submit to a site versus my own site...does the same technique apply...also can I open the gif via PowerPoint as I do not have PhotoShop or Front Page? Thanks, Tom |

In that case your banner needs to have the code inserted into it - so do you have the code of the banner from your affiliate company if you do you do not need to change anything as the company would have generated the code for you! Which you can submit to the site with your banner |

Ok, is it just me or does it sound like you're all over thinking this? If you are providing the .gif to a webmaster to display on their site, you simply need to tell them the link the banner should point to. |
