Best Price Point for monthly membership upsell?

I have a $47 product. After the customer buys the $47 product they are offered a $67 Platinum upgrade with additional complementary products.

Part of this upgrade is 1 month free into our monthly membership program (so first month is free if they upgrade, then they're charged each month after that).

Included with this is weekly publications as well as 1-3 new related products to help the each month.

My question...

What is a good price point for this monthly membership? The main criteria being to maximize people who upgrade and then stick around (so maximizing value I suppose).

Right now I'm thinking either $12, $19, $27...

Any advice? Thank you.

    The lower the price point, the more chance you have of more people sticking around.

    You just have to decide if you prefer more people at a lower price, or less people at a higher one.

    Most people would agree, however, that if your goal is to have more people, lower recurring fee is better. If it's something that takes a lot of your time, then you don't want more people. (But it seems that your goal is to have as many people as possible, so that answers that.)
