New private message process

I just sent a PM to someone and got a strange pop up. I thought my browser was acting up. I guess not though. I sent the message and was told that I could send another or I could close the window. There was a couple of links to the source of the application, but I could not find a link to actually close the window and get back to reading the thread. I had to refresh the page.

Anyone else have problems with it or can tell me what I did wrong so that the next time I can close the window?
