Default What is best Affiliate training & tools?

I've been an e-commerce entreprenuer since 1996, but have never had any desire to get into affiliate marketing, until now. My question is WHO has or WHERE should I look for a good startup package for an affiliate business. My business will be in the health industry, anti-aging, chronic illness remedies, etc. So, I am looking for a program/package that does the following:
1). Provides clear guidance for researching the high demand products within my niche (including the formulas for picking product on clickbank & commission junction)
2). Tools for analyzing and selecting product on affiltae network sites.
3). Is it best to use a web site or a blog as my landing page

All the links on the blog or wbe site will go to affiliate products

I want to really do my homework up front so I don;t get caught in the 97% of all affiliates that don;t ever make any real money.

Thanks

I think that drop shipping will be better for your expectation.

You may search for more information here at worldwidebrandsdotcom

The stuff over at Affilorama -> The #1 Affiliate Marketing Training Portal | Affilorama is pretty good, goes into all details from ClickBank, setting up Aweber and even using Filezilla. Did I mention it was free!

Not what I'm looking for. But, years ago I did try that and it was a waste of time, and money

Come on folks! I Know you seasoned IM guys know what I am talking about. WHO is the best to follow for getting a REAL affiliate business off the ground? There are so many to choose from. I have been following Howie Swartz but like myself he is a self admitted ADHD and he is kind of all over the place. One ADHD guy trying to follow another induces anxiety and endless ideas. I would like to find a program lead by someone that is more FOCUSED. If you follow Howie you know he is all over the map with IM ideas. He has some great ones, but just not focused enough in one particular area. Some have told me John Reese is a good affiliate mentor ??
