    Do whatever's easiest for you.

For me, I have a standard WP theme all made up; change the header, change some colors, and load some articles and I have a 10-page site in less than an hour. And infinitely expandable at the expense of 3 minutes per new page upload time.

The advantages of WP that I see are 1) automatic pinging to your ping list when you post a new article and 2) a sitemap plugin that builds an XML sitemap in standard format, and notifies the big 3 when it changes.

Disadvantages is that it's an awful lot of disk space just to run 10 pages or so, coupled with the inconvenience of working with a database. BUT - disk space is cheap, and if you have SSH access into your hosting account, setting up a new WP site is literally a less than 5 minute operation once you've done a few.

I have a zip file on my server pre-loaded with my fav plugins and my theme. I create a new account, unzip the WP file, change the table prefix in wp-config, and blow and go.

Can't tell you anything about xsitepro, have never used it.

    MG,
If you are doing a product promotion and have everything ready, go with Xsitepro.
Use Wordpress only if you intend to have a lot of on-going posts/ pages and seeking for comments. Otherwise, if you are promoting a product, it might be easier if you can see it offline before you launch your product.
    Hope it helps

    Hi MG,

I would advise you to think of what you want to do with this site.

If it is just a simple review site which you don't intend to update regularly, go for a minisite.

However, if you wish to scale it up, then WordPress will be a better choice.

In fact, even if it is a review site, WordPress can do it perfectly well.

The reason why I am for WordPress is because of a few good reasons:

    1. Multiple plug-ins. Plugins add on many functions to your sites, such as RSS feed syndication, interaction with your visitors, SEO benefits, auto traffic building etc

    2. Scalability. You can really scale it up to be huge.

    3. Theme can be changed around easily.
