Traffic and target audience

Hello folks. I've just finished writing a few posts on my website. I wonder how to promote my website and earn revenue. Seems like people who have dropped by on my website aren't the target audience.

Now that squidoo.com has become history, is there any other place like squidoo on the internet?

    Are you using social media?

    I definitely recommend using Facebook Ads. With good targeting it is also not expensive.

    If some contents in your website can convert to video content, it would be great. Because you can attached your website link to promote via videos and also to make money from ads.

    What is your website URL? For sure Bing PPC (or Adwords if allowed) is the first place to start. But what is your site address?

    Use social media.

    Facebook ads, boost your posts, use hashtags, join groups, etc.

    You should also tweet whenever you make a new posts and ping it immediately.

    Generate a following by partnering with like-minded blogs/websites and start guest posting.

    Since you mentioned squidoo I would think your question is focused more on free promotion . You can use forums just like this focused on what your site is about, also find blogs related to the website and post leaving your website link.

    Build your own site using Wordpress

    As for promotions, it's easy

    Find related or similar content and find out who links to such content or, using Topsy, who retweets such content.

    You'd be surprised as to how much traffic you can drum up by simply reverse engineering your competition's content.
