Might have been Traffic Thomas or Longtail Pro, sounds an awful lot like the Google keyword tool to me tho lol...

To be honest, could be any number of tools.

I am not sure which tool that is. There are several keyword tools and software. The ones I primarily use are:

    Google keyword planner: https://adwords.google.com/KeywordPlanner
Keyword Spy: #1 Keyword Software & Keyword Tool for Keyword Research & Tracking

But the main keyword tool I use is Market Samuari, it is amazing: Keyword Analysis Tool - Market Samurai

    Hope that helps - Pete

I use SEMrush. It is not a typical Keyword research tool, it offers more than researching Keyword. Unlike other tools where you need to add seed Keywords to start your research, you just need to add your competitor URL, and it will show you all the keywords that site is ranking for. This makes it easier for you to find short-tail and long-tail keywords that you can target. For free 15 days trial.

You might want to try Traffic Travis at traffictravis.com. They have a free version. You can do an SEO keyword search, then download it to CSV file and then rank it by Easy to Difficult within Excel.
