Can anyone recommend a good WP theme for a Viral New style site ?

Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend a good theme for me to play with that would do a good job of building a Viral News style site like ViralNova - Your Stories On The Web ect.. I havent built a site in a while and was thinking of getting the new Thesis theme but its quite expensive can anyone give me a few others to look at ?

    Any theme can be customized according to your needs. Don't make the buying decision based only on the DEMO looks and price. It can be a real struggle to bring your website to look exactly like the demo website.

    Go with a reliable Wordpress theme that offers regular updates and support. This way you can ask for some real help when you get stuck.
