Recently, I had trouble to login to my twitter accounts and I experienced some difficulties when trying to switch between my lists inside my aweber account.

I thought my browser was infected with some malicious spyware...

I discovered it was the Skype FireFox add-on that turned my browser into this nightmare (it was automatically installed when I installed Skype a couple of days ago).

So if you have trouble to login to your twitter accounts, or if you experience troubles to browse inside your aweber account, you might check if you have the Skype Firefox add-on installed.

To uninstall, go to Firefox' Tools, then click "add ons", then click the uninstall button of the mentioned add on.

Hope this helps someone here!

    Hi Stefan,

Thanks for the heads-up. I haven't run into either of those problems, but it's good to know what to look for if it does come up. Appreciate it.

    Cheers, Charles

    Thanks Charles,

I just found out that Skype and XAMPP (a program I use to run Wordpress installations on my local hard drive) don't get along either. You can't activate the Apache module of XAMPP without terminating the Skype service first.

Weird... this happens on my Vista PC. Haven't tested this on my XP PC
