Dirty roten little buggers!

Hello Warriors,

I finally got some $$ for promoting an affiliate product. $400 bucks a week, and life was great. Then....
The product I promoted got picked up by a major retailer. The product's tracking site was dropped I can not check my stats. I have 3x the traffic I ever had and I can only make a $10 commission once in a blue blue moon now days.

So I moved on I found an interest in another product, This product is a great product discount price free shipping the works. But I have sold nothing over 1000 visitors no buyers???

Which brings me to my question for you Warriors, How do you know if you can trust affiliate programs????

I really need to pick up where I left off because I lost $600 dollars a month from my job, that $400 bucks a week would have made things great right about now, but I have to move on ward...

I guess on thing I have learned is to never put all your eggs into one basket....

Good day,
Michael

Just promoting a single product hardly does the trick. having multiple streams of income is important, specially in this competitive market consisting of millions of buyers and sellers and the number of sellers almost being above the number of buyers..

One thing I don't like about affiliate marketing is you are always dependent on others. If the affiliate company or even Google decide to make some changes, you can see you regular earnings go up in smoke.

You just have to go with your own experience. I always go with a 30 day trial period and if I don't get at least 1% in conversions for every 100 clicks, then I leave. Lots of companies scam their affiliates, but then again, lots of them don't either. I would say the majority of them do not in my own personal experience. But, you could also do your own research by typing in their affiliate program in search engine and see what other people are saying. But in the end, it's all up to your own experience. Sorry about your problems -- it sucks when that happens.

Thanks for you kind words I was just venting a little. I know multiple streams of income is better, but when one stream starts off with good results, I think it is better to work a little harder in that one niche.

        thanks again,
        Michael
