Looking from some article feedback.

Warriors and warrioressesssesssess ... or something like that.

I'm looking for some feedback. I've always written stuff in the financial niche and you just have to not be as boring as those guys (easy).

I've moved on the the OB niche and have an enormous amount of experience. After spending several days defining my target audience and discovering my voice of passion, I've finished my first article.

Let me know what you think... questions, comments, advice, tickles... whatever. To be fair, I've removed all share buttons and any for profit links.

I can take a hit ... be mean ... even if it's great.

Nice writing. Especially the "blog induced coma."

Thanks. Any other feedback? Did you have questions, did you want more? What was it missing? Is this the kind of piece you would read?

I like the approach -- more specifically, the way you envisioned the writer while writing. But a quick read-through revealed a few annoying grammar and punctuation errors. Other than that, it's great!

      Great writing!

I found that after reading your article, I wanted to write my own articles differently from here on out...definitely 'transformed' my way of thinking.

      Minor suggestions...

I would perhaps take out the 'Develop Supporting Ideas' section from where it is now; just include the 'Prove It Works' and the 'Testimony' subsections in that area because they directly relate to your 'Support Your Statement' section (as you mention 'proof' and 'testimony' in the paragraph directly above this section).

And, then, I would perhaps rename the 'Develop Supporting Ideas' to something like 'How to Find Ideas that Support Your Statement' or 'Tips to Develop Supporting Ideas' and make this the third section of your article.

I think that having 3 main points, instead of just 2, will help your article to flow a bit better. Sometimes, as readers we tend to expect that there will at least 3 main points in an article (or perhaps this is just a left-over from my educational background ).

Anyhoo - very well written...thanks for sharing! (And, please let me know when you are ready to share your outline and the 2nd part of this article as I am definitely interested in hearing 'the rest of the story' (as Paul Harvey would say...).

Have you considered asking for advice in the Copywriting section of the forum?

The writing is fine, but my first question was: "Who is this for?"

I don't know who the intended audience is...so as the reader I don't know if it's for me. So if this article is already positioned right in front of the target audience, that's great. If it isn't, then a paragraph up top about who needs to read this and why would be helpful.

Very nice article. I agree with Gail Rahn on renaming "Develop Supporting Ideas" to something that makes it a little less textbook. I'm eager to read more of your writing. One question I have is who is the target audience for this article?

Thanks for all of the awesome feedback.

You're right, I need to better define my audience in the intro. So I added a simple sentence to the first paragraph that accomplishes that.

I'm going through a redesign, and doing it myself so it's taking some time. The 'rest of the story' is already written, just going through editing. It will be published shortly Pre-Launch Sept 25th.
