I would like to know where and how did you invest your first $1 online to build your business?

domain? hosting? traffic? where did you invest this $1 that takes time to make?

I mean the first $1 you made online!

This 1st dollar I spent for my online venture was for GetResponse - an auto responder. I didn't need a website the way I captured leads. It was the best $1 spent in my life.

I know you know this, but it's called sigwhoring. Post a question that anybody can answer very easily and you're almost certain to get lots and lots of responses. Nevermind that neither the question nor the responses will have no value whatsoever -- all that matters is that the OP's signature will be seen again and again and again....

I signed up in NSS Int'l for FREE as their affiliate. Since then, I can get additional profit and Im happy with the services they provide. They gave me 5% of the amount of every domain sold, 50% of the amount of share hosting sold, and $35 credit incentive to be used to purchase their product.

Not that hard to refer their services since they offer good packages such as unlimited bandwidth, traffic, free domain, and others with a very affordable price. Just check out their site at www.n9s.com or email at jen.lin@nss.com.tw

In terms specifically of IM, I can't remember now - no doubt it was some rubbish get rich quick scheme!

Although I suspect the journey i've been on through web design for the last decade or so would probably indicate it was a hosting cost.

Anyone else want to look at their JVZoo account and see what the first thing they forked out for was?!

I made the first investment in making a simple website for my packing and moving business.
My website got me a lot of leads and business. I have since updated my site a few times but since then I never looked back!

Did you want to know the both of the first invest & earning?

Well. I did not invest even a single amount of money before earning. I used the free service of the Blogger's blog. then I made some SEO by myself to increase my blog traffic. then I have earned my first earnings from the IM section. One can earn any amount if one wish. Best of luck. Thanks

Like most, I can't remember exactly.

I can guarantee that at the time I would have had to put a few more dollars to it to make the purchase. It would more than likely have been course in the form of a physical book or PDF, probably bought from eBay.

I would have been very excited at the time and it would possibly have been the first product I'd read about having to have a list and a description of a sales funnel of some sorts.

I spent it on a Warrior Forum ad. A WSO. That $20 investment -- my last $20 at the time, quite literally -- got me $564, which in turn got me hosting space, which got me a website, which got me making some cash from Clickbank, which helped me get by until I could start making enough money as a content writer to support my family. That was seven years ago.

I spent my first $1 on webhosting from Yahoo. I didn't know what the heck i was doing. And the site was completely ugly. With very bad copywriting. The next thing i did was invest $25 into (at the time) Overture, and got 0 sales. I couldn't even sell it at $1.

At the risk of commenting on a pointless thread...

I invested my first dollar into used computer equipment in 1996 and hustled to resell it for more. I then used that client base to offer computer training, repair services and later web and design services around the community. Later getting into websites and building up legitimate web brands.

My view has always been to provide an actual value for long term gain, rather than making a quick buck on some scheme. Something that is at odds with a few of the posts around here, haha. ;-)

I invested my first dollar online on education. Best $1 + $$$ I ever spent. That was years ago and it has paid me many many MANY multiple times over since then.

I still value education an spend regularly learning newer and better ways to achieve my goals online.
