looking to get into a foreign market to make some money online. not sure what sort of niche to get into.

Suggest some niches to get into.

      Here's one quick and dirty way to start.

      Go to Amazon books. Look at their directory. Pick categories (markets) that interest you. Drill down in the category until you can't drill down any more. Chances are pretty good that you have found a profitable "niche." There are thousands of them.

    Forex trading, dating, weight loss, 6 pack abs, acne, sleep, caring for various pets, etc.

    These verticals are pretty universal to all foreign markets and are likely to have lasting appeal.

      Wow, that's about as general of a question you can ask.

      "I want to sell to foreign markets name some niches"?

      That's so general it's hard to answer.

      It's like saying I want to get rich can you name some businesses?
      Give us something to work with, for example:
      • What are your skills?
      • What do you like to do?
      • What are your qualifications.
      • What are your goals?
      • How much can you invest?
      • What marketing knowledge do you have?
      Or anything else you can add.
      Answering the above questions might get you a more specific and useful answer rather than the general answers you've gotten so far.

    There are loads and loads of profitable niches out there, you can fill out every pages of a big book by writing them all in. Chances are... you'll find that lots of people have already been doing business in that niche but don't worry, just do things differently, make some tweaks. You don't even need to invent a new or unique/futuristic product, in fact newly launched products are harder to sell than the innovated one as people are already aware of or at least have some knowledge with the latter. Just determine where you're good at or what you usually love to do (although doing what you love isn't always profitable). Look what's missing with your competitor and in the target market as a whole, things that people are moaning about or the daily spicy hot topic in the alley.

    The first question you should ask yourself is: "what do I like doing?" If you get a niche that is interested enough for you then you will learn more about it and enjoying in the process, but if you hate it or get bored, then the failure is guaranteed...

      I understand that I will have to be interested in the subject.
      Was only looking for niche ideas to research to see how much competition there is. Dog training niche has a little competition already.

      I am looking for niches which have good potential in terms of information products as well as physical products too.

    Halloween is a good one, especially costumes. Halloween is Oct. 31st in the States. Parents usually buy more than one costume because they got several kids and will likely buy more than one for each kid (one for school, one for trick-or-treating - going door-to-door or to a party of some kind). It's very common to buy early and online because the popular costumes always go out-of-stock at the stores.

    Just get a piece of paper and write down everything you know something about.

    Narrow down the list to things you'd enjoy writing about.

    Start a blogger blog in 3-4 of these niches and post a few articles. Wait 3 months and if you start getting traffic and comments, then build out the most successful blog into a website or forum.

    I use SemRush to find the untapped keyword . Pick a website having a decent traffic and analyse it with semrush , It will show you which keyword is bigging max percentage of traffic on that site ... AND A MAXIMUM CHANCE IS THAT KEYWORD IS VERY LOW COMPETITIVE KEYWORD .you can expand that keyword to make a targeted niche site

    The best nich is the niche you know about a lot and able to educate and help the communty. then you can jump to other niches when you read and get enough knowledge from different blogs, forums and experts.

    Your niche should be one that you actually know something about and are willing to work hard to learn more about -- or be an expert at that something to begin with. If your site is about a niche that you know little about, it will be very obvious to your visitors and your site will likely fail.

    So, again, select a niche you know about, you love, and you can be passionate about. Otherwise, you risk losing interest before the site has had a chance to succeed.
