I just want to make a little money here and there.

So I have been working on my site and i have been doing ok with drawing in some traffic but i am in a niche that is maybe a little TOO narrow so there is only so much traffic I could drive in.

Also I am only using 2 ways to drive in money from my site. I am using adsense and I have an affiliate app with amazon. I know how to use click bank items and how to sell space on my site and all that but i am trying to keep my site as clean looking as I possibly can. What I mean is I dont want it to be a scammers site.

So I have just read someone else's post about how they are poor and how it drives them. I have that same sad story but I look at it in a little different light. I was raised by just my dad ( mom was a drug addict and in and out of mental hospital) alone. It was me and my two brothers and my dad. There were several times where I stayed at my friends houses for weeks because we just didn't have a home to live in. But when I think about it I dont think that its not fair that other people have it easy. I think Hey, those kids parents must have worked really hard for what they have.

If I had a good job and had a few kids I would spoil them too. But I dont think that makes them any better or worse then me.

ANYWAYS,

I am working 2 jobs and trying to help raise my girlfriends daughter. We have very little money but we are looking to move. So I was seeing if anyone maybe knew of some ways to make an extra $5 or $10 here and there. I mean I know how to do a bit on the computer but the thing is I just dont have very much time.

So I am thinking maybe something like setting up back links for people that would pay me. I dont know maybe someone needs some help with their site and i could help out a couple hours a day or something. Anything would help.

Thank you and I hate to sound like I am a begger but it is just that I am in a bad situation right now.

    I like your attitude and you sound like a nice guy! Have you thought about writing articles? It sounds by your post that you could write a decent article and I know people here are always looking for writers. I think the backlink thing could work too I'm sure folks are looking for people to outsource that too.

      Ya I could write articles but the thing is I am not the best person with SEO. I mean I get the concept and understand how it works but I just feel like I don't to let people down if my articles are not driving a ton of traffic for them. But I think that's a good idea and would be willing to give it a shot for someone that might not be expecting great results from my articles.

        hey, post in the main board that you will write 1 article for the first 10 people that come along, any niche, then let them give you some feedback/testimonials and use those as a start! good luck!

        btw articles generally get traffic depending on rank so it does not matter how "well" your writing is for the article to get traffic.

    You might want to consider offering services. That is a great way to get money coming in.

    A lot of successful marketers got their start offering services, and some still do. Look at the Warrior for Hire section to see what people are offering, and see if you could offer something along those lines.

      I looked at both of the sites, did you design these yourself? If so your very talented.
      Check out the section of the forum for WEB DESIGN, people post there offers to other warriors to sell their design services. I paid another warrior to design some sites for
      me and so do many other people here. There is allot of money being made right here
      inside the forum all the time, in fact some people make a full time income from providing services to other warriors.

      All the best to you. Maybe I'll see a post from you offering your web design services
      when I'm looking in the web design or warriors for hire areas.

    I agree with others who have replied here that offering writing or web designing services is the quickest way to make the money if you have the skills.

    I had been a ghostwriter for ten years and have always written in a conversational style rather than SEO based and I found a number of repeat clients who appreciated that. So I wouldn't be too worried about the SEO angle. There are a number of clients who are looking for quality information not keyword based frameworks.

    That said if you did design your sites yourself you have skills that will net you far more than $5 - $10 per article.

    As mentioned above, you really should look into Article Writing. No need to get to complicated. If you feel that offering article writing services to people is too time consuming, considering the need to market your service, find clients, and then get jobs to do, and make sure payments come in, you should get into writing article for AssociatedContent.com

    Signup to them, and start writing articles for them under there exclusive terms and they will pay you $2-$10 per article... (most likely around the $2 range.) but if you write 5 articles a day....Would take one hour, you will make some easy money. If you want to get this going, hit me up and I will explain it a bit more. Will let you know how I do it. (And yes, I will not charge you :p...just trying to help)

      Sounds like you're very busy, what with 2 jobs and all.

      If you're looking for short term money, have you thought about selling on eBay?

      I know it's not very sexy, but eBay already gets massive targeted buying traffic. All you have to do is get a tiny fraction of that traffic to visit your item selling page - and how you achieve that is easily teachable.

      Also, why not put your Dad's stained glass products on eBay too. Either to sell individual pieces, or as an eBay Classified Ad where you could maybe get commissions from people for your Dad to make stained glass pieces for them.
