Since the last Google update, I make sure to install a mobile plugin. I like to use WP Touch.

  No. I answered that because it is a ridiculous question. The plug-ins, no matter what they are or how many you have will not make any site an authority site. They may help you get your content spread around, perfectly laid out on the page etc. but if your content is junk you will never make your site an authority site simply by having a few plug-ins on it.
  
  Do you seriously believe that any large, respectable authority site became "an authority" simply because it had a few plug-ins installed?
