I give people what they are looking for

I don't want to waste my credibility by making it appear that I am HARD UP and trying to squeeze the freebie seeker

Remember: For anyone to buy anything off you, they must TRUST YOU.

    Trust is very fragile.

It only takes one WILD CLAIM or spammy link to see all that credibility go up in smoke

I've tested dozens upon dozens (probably more) of thank you pages that I've created for products and solo ads.

My advice is to test EVERYTHING.

Also remember that if you don't make commission, you'll eventually go out of business. (Or, you'll grow tired really quick).

That being said, adding a few related affiliate links (or placing your own offers) on your thank you page can absolutely generate revenue.

So my advice, is ask yourself what would happen if you never promote anything? Because people hate promotions right?

What if you go out of business from being scared to sell?

Then what would your end users do?

One of the slogans of the early Internet was "don't make me think."

Keep it simple. Traditional sales techniques say you should never give the customer anything that looks like a choice. If you absolutely have to give them options, limit them to two or three, total.

You can have other links in your sidebar, or something like that, but don't distract them.

Figure out what you want them to do. Then make it easy for them to do that, without thinking or making a multiple-choice decision.

After they're happy with your freebie, they'll be back for more information or a paid product or service.

At the start, if your goal is to get the freebie in their hands, focus on that and nothing else.

Everything else will follow, after you've earned their trust and sparked their interest.

what worked for me was on the thank you page, first put the link to download the report or whatever you are offering. Under that you can put 3 - 4 affiliate links as bonus or recommended sources.

On my Thankyou Page I give them a very warm hello with my picture and even crack a little joke.

      Be engaging

I then let them know their complimentary Gift and the E course are waiting in their Inbox.

Also, as someone else pointed out there is nothing wrong with providing link/s to other tools and products that can truly help them
