How to use yourdomain's email with Gmail

I hate using Outlook and such others to send and read my domain's email
and now I used Gmail instead

here's how:

-Log in to your Gmail address and go to "Settings">"Accounts and Imports"
-Select "Send mail from another address". Add the account for your domain address.
-Google will send a confirmation message to your domain's address. Confirm the message, and you are set!
-The next time someone emails you at your domain address,
the message will show up at your Gmail account, and you can even reply to them using the domain address instead of your Gmail account.

you can also use the same method using hotmail
here's the link to setup Windows Live Admin Center

I know most of you already know about this, but I hope this guide are usefull for newbies

      Hi Mike,

Yes the instruction above will do the same.

If you set to forward your email to Gmail, can you still reply from Gmail as well?

It might be have different method to do the same thing

In fact, you can configure google apps to host your email, that too for FREE. You will get around 30 odd accounts without paying anything.

I use dreamhost and they have in built options for configuring google apps for any domain added to the cpanel. Once you set it up, you can access your mail through gmail interface at a url like mail.yourdomain.com

It shows with your domain email itself. It has nothing to do with any of your other gmail accounts.

I am not really sure about blackberry. Never tried it yet!

Though it works perfectly with iphone, you just have to add a new email account in iphone as a gmail account.

You can checkout http://connect.contentweavers.com to see the login page google offers for your domain.

And yes, you can even put a custom logo replacing the normal google logo in gmail.
