Good Morning Warriors, Ok, I have been up since 5ish this morning (UK time) as I couldn't sleep. Today is the day I have decided to take stock on my business and seriously PLAN and SET GOALS! My business I am setting goals for today is my offline consulting business, something I have been running for just over a year now, nearer 18 months. Since I started my business it has taken many directions and I planned a little at the begining. I was organized when I started my offline consulting biz but I never really set goals in concrete. I keep hearing that you need to have a real plan and real goals to make sure you achieve them, so I am gonna give this one a shot. So, I am calling all specialist business planners and goal setters out there, what should I be doing? How can they be realistic? How the hell do I put all this down? I am not a brand new business, more of wanting to take my business to a higher level and believe planning and goal setting properly may be my missing piece of the puzzle. But, I am unsure where to start? or how to actually get this down? So, input from Warriors and business planners, builders and goal setters would be awesome! GoGetta |

Hi Define the end. Define a €€€ goal. If you plan a monthly income, let's say 3K, you just need to adjust your expertise to achieve that amount. And YOU know what you need to do, who to call, what to sell, to get that amount. - Site A needs SEO - 1K - Site B needs Adwords campaign - $800 - Customer C needs a mini-site - $500 Maybe it's a weird tactic, but works for me. Define the end. Work back to beginning. This way i know what i want (€€€) and i use what i know (own skills/rented skills) to get there. Frankly it's pretty easy to stay focused this way. ![]() P.S. - Don't forget to splash a A3 with your goal in your office wall. Gets me focused. |
