Facebook Page with 10k Likes Niche is Pets/Animals

Hello there! I started this experiment a while back, well around a year a go. I set up this Facebook page and went with the easiest niche I could find which was pets/animals. My main goal here was to learn how to advertise on Facebook and try to get cheap real Likes/Comments/Shares/Page Likes. I did pretty well I got one of my post to 11k likes, 250 shares and like 90 comments with a bunch of new Page likes. I average around $0.005 per action which I consider really good for a beginner and I understand the gist of Facebook advertising. Now I decided to finally learn a bit more, I'm currently at 10k Page Likes and I was thinking of creating a blog "I'm a web developer which means this is not hard at all for me" and hire someone to write a couple of Seo Articles and then advertise through my Facebook Page and Targeted Advertisement. With all of this I wanted to ask you guys if any of you tried this niche and what advice they could give me!

I haven't tried that niche at all but it seems to work well.

I recently came across an Instagram page SOLELY
dedicated to a woman's Keeshond (dog). The owner
of the dog is rarely in any photos, but she keeps
followers engaged - and the account has THOUSANDS
    of followers.

    I couldn't believe it!

The profile looked simple. Nothing special. Just "cute"
pics of the dog doing "cute" things. No value provided
whatsoever, but it keeps ALL those followers engaged.

Plenty of activity on the account. It's incredible!

I guess people love their cats and dogs.

You already know it will work for you.

You're fortunate because you chose a slightly
broader group - animals. Don't get too broad, though.

Perhaps specify with either domesticated or wild.

Tropical animals or animals from other regions.

What do your existing followers seem to like from you?

Pictures are no-brainers but perhaps fill your audience
in with facts and tidbits of the animal of your choice.

Use the hashtag, "#didyouknow," in your posts and
    intrigue the animal lovers.

I have some experience in this market, vykro.

You need to put together a strong plan before you do anything. The trick is to determine what angle you can use to encourage your followers to use your website. Do they need another blog about dog care and training? Not really. What else do they need? Look at competing FB pages. Can you get any good ideas? Look at other high-follow pages. Can their websites, even in different markets, give you ideas for your dog lovers? Think of it from the POV of your audience. Why would they consider using your website?

To shed some light on this, or rather, to give you an idea, consider the traditional squeeze page model. Can you come up with an idea for an opt-in incentive that will be your angle? The USP. That one thing that separates you from the competition and makes you desirable in the eyes of your followers. In 2015, video courses are working very well. But you'll need more than a "freebie." You need that angle. Don't make a single move (domain registration, etc) before you have it. Get your plan. Take action.

As far as monetization goes. Terribly easy. Some ideas:

    1. CPA Offers.
    2. Amazon.
    3. T-Shirts.

    Best of luck!

    Cheers - Tom

Exactly what I was thinking. I'll still do the blog thing because this one is quite easy for me and not much time consuming and try to get opt-ins from this "article and a opt-in that pops out within 30 seconds" and I'll also try direct squeeze page with cpa offer. I've studied a lot for the past week or 2 and I'll test different methods to see which one works best for me. Oh and by the way my audience seem to go crazy for cats ^^ typical haha

What cpa offers would be good for pet/animals niche. Cause basically i own a site like you too. Im looking to monetize it but i cant come with anything else than adsense.

You can run your ads in FB to promote any product/service you want. It could be anything. And Then commissions on those sales can bring you money.
For example, You can design a T-shirt of your favorite niche and can promote it on FB using your fan page. this can be done on websites like Teespring.

PS: I think you are very new to FB ads,, if you need more info, let me know.

Not really possible. Unless you charge to promote other businesses... Which your followers will HATE!

I've seen a lot of people having success with their pets/animals niche. I often see very successful pitbull tshirt campaigns on Teespring just to give you an example.
