Can anyone recommend a membership site software, cms, or Wordpress template?

Hi I want to put together a membership site (maybe a few) where people pay a recurring monthly fee to access my content and I've never done it before. Is there a software or CMS or Wordpress package I can buy that does all this, with a members area, email capture etc etc all rolled into 1 product?

Like I said I've never done it before and I'd rather just buy a package that has everything in it done correctly than me trying to figure things out and having it turn out badly. I'd rather focus on putting out great content than some technical aspect of the site.

    Take a look at Membergate. IMO, it's the best and has everything in one package. It's not the cheapest solution, but it can scale to many thousands of members, is very secure and stable, and will do everything you need.

      From 2009? I found it hardly worth reading at all. Most of the top subscription site products weren't even mentioned.

        Theme. Twenty Fourteen ... yes it´s simple but works great and easy to customize..

        Membership system: S2Member WP plugin. - It´s free and a good choice if you are just starting out.


        Another option could bethat you could deliver content via an autoresponder. That way you keep it simple and automated.


        Sales Pages ==> Welcome Squeeze Page ===> Deliver content by email or link to a pw protected area on your website... It does not need to be expensive or complicated

    I use MemberPress, and have never had any real reason to try anything else. The fact that it has a built-in affiliate program was icing on the cake.
