How To Create Instant Access Button? Affiliate Marketing Question

Hi, i'm new to the forum, glad to be here. Question: would like to know how do affiliates redirect subscribers once somebody subscribes to their "instant access" or "Subscribe button" then when they enter their email, then they get re-directed to the affiliate website link straight away. How does that work? (1. someone sees your splash page, 2. they enter their email because of interest in product, 3. they get re-directed to the affiliate website straight away after subscribing.) I created html form, but need to put affiliate link in code somehow?

You can set the page they are directed to in your autoresponder. Depending which one you use, the exact directions will be different, so I'm not going to put directions here. This is assuming you are using an autoresponder company and not sending emails yourself from your own server.

Thanks for quick response, I am using the free version of "mailchimp" just to get started with low cost, is there a way to "input" my {affiliate link} within the HTML coding of the email subscribe form created on mailchimp via html code form?

Mailchimp explicitly forbids affiliate marketing so you don't want to do that. You will get your account shut down.

I was surprised to read this so I took a quick look into it and indeed affiliate marketing is listed in their acceptable use policy as prohibited content.

However, Mailchimp gives further information on their 'good vs bad affiliate links' page stating, "MailChimp doesn't stop campaigns that contain any affiliate links, just campaigns that contain URLs that are on blacklists."

Mailchimp goes on to state, "While affiliate marketing is fine under certain conditions, we do not allow affiliate marketers. A typical example of an affiliate marketer is someone who buys an email list specifically to send random offers to the recipients, even if the offers don't have anything to do with the interests of the recipients. The problem here is that the affiliate marketer doesn't care about the content and is just looking to generate a commission. This is not what MailChimp is for."

So it looks like it depends upon your approach to affiliate marketing as to whether you can fly under the radar with your affiliate marketing on Mailchimp.

With regards to direct linking to an affiliate product in their post opt-in redirect, I would suspect that this would indicate to Mailchimp that you're an 'affiliate marketer'. Perhaps you could ask them about this.

Thanks tenbears, I have sort of figured out what must be done now, and may use another paid service provider anyway in future, but yes, they seemed pretty friendly about it and helped me so i'm guessing they don't mind affiliates. cheers guys!
