Finding Kindle Keyword Search Volume?

Hopefully a simple set of questions:

Is it even possible to find the monthly search volume for keywords used for Kindle ebooks? Search volume on Amazon, I mean, not necessarily on Google/other search engines.

If possible, is there a tool out there that can find that data?

Thanks in advance!

Not that I'm aware of You can have an educated guess at terms that are searched most by using the search function on amazon and seeing what it brings up but that's it.

Also be careful of using Google keyword checker just because people are searching for something doesn't mean they are interested in buying a book on the subject. How many people do you know that have books about porn?

Well, they call it erotica, but....

Good point about Google. It might point you in a general direction, but Amazon is a whole different country to navigate.

Amazon is a buyer search engine.

Google is an information search engine. As said previously, not everyone is in the buying mood.

I have yet to find a tool that will accurately show you search volume for the Amazon search. However I can tell you that when you type keywords into Amazon, the suggested Amazon search terms are sorted in order of frequency.

You can try merchantwords.com. It's not 100% accurate but it gives a good idea.

I was looking at merchantwords earlier. I'm not certain it distinguishes between people searching for books on a topic vs products (a book on beer brewing vs a beer brewing kit, for example). I just took a quick glance, though, so I'll definitely check it out more. Thanks!

If you would like to learn a little more about Amazon search, you can find "a little bit" of information here: Home - A9

That is their search engine, but while the website does give some information, it doesn't give a lot of detail.
