Looking For Advice - How Do I Build An Affiliate Program?

I have an established website offering eBooks and Seminars on the very edgy topic of "Alpha Male Life Coaching." I've been doing this for a few years and have been published in some major magazines. Now that I have my business bolted down, my question is: How do I build an affiliate program start to finish?

I am running DLGuard to process online sales and protected downloads. What software is recommended to add to this to actually run my affiliate program?

I am very interested in learning about software that enables instant transfers to the PayPal accounts of my affiliates.

What are the minimum things that I need to setup to give my affiliates what they need to sell? Do I setup sales pages just for affiliates or do they build the sales pages (with there own sales copy) and just use a special link to my system on their sales pages?

What are the top 10 mistakes people make when they are new and are setting up affiliate programs for the first time?

Any advice, help, or eBooks on setting up a successful affiliate program would be greatly appreciated!
