Stuck on RSS Feedburner and wordpress

I hope that someone out there can asisst me without me having to pay for someone, because I am working out how to get a word press blog installed. It is not that I do not want to pay, but I want to be able to sort out wordpress for myself and the RSS feedburner plugin is driving me nuts. I have been six hours trying to figure it out.

So far

here is my blog

I have so far mangaged to add the plug in the correct directory, I have placed FeedBurner_FeedSmith_Plugin.php file into your default WordPress
plugin directory into wp-content/plugins/.


So far so good at least I think so.

I have activated the plug in which is why I think it is ok at this point I have the following message

I then go to set it up and have




1.To get started, create a FeedBurner feed for Cheaper Credit Now. This feed will handle all traffic for your posts.

2.Once you have created your FeedBurner feed, enter its address into the field below (http://feeds.feedburner.com/yourfeed):

3.Optional: If you also want to handle your WordPress comments feed using FeedBurner, create a FeedBurner comments feed and then enter its address below:


At step one I went to set up my feed

and got

Which of the two of the above do I need to click please and then what do I do.

I apologise for the long post but I ma sure that I only seconds away from completing this if I could only have a little geek help.

just get a hosting account with CPanel. Inside u have Fantastico and with 2 clicks you can install WP.

about feedburner, go with RSS instead of atom.

Currently your feed is invalid. Both the atom and rss2 feeds will work but I'd go with rss2. There shouldn't be much more to it. Select your FB feed and the plugin will use the FB feed instead of the default WP feed.

As andrusito said, Fantastico or Simplescripts offer an easy way to install WP (just a few click and you're up and running). The latest WP version lets you uplaod and install plugins and themes from within your WP admin panel so there's no need for you to FTP etc.
