Amazon Plugins, etc. ANY GOOD? Or Just SHINY OBJECTS?

Hello,

I'm interested in starting an Amazon Affiliate Store and have a WordPress site up already.

I'm seeing a lot of Amazon Plugins and Amazon Storefronts and Amazon WSO's and am wondering if any of them are worth getting? I've bought a lot of "Shiny Objects" before and don't want to buy anything else unless it is something I can use to make money with...

To all you Amazon Affiliates out there... Is there anything you currently use and can say has helped you make money? Care to share your stats?

Thanks Y'all

I have all the shiny objects (Amazon plugins). Until you have good traffic to your site most of the plugins are not likely to help. I did just buy Igors compare zon plugin and I liked it because it does a great job of creating a 3 column comparison table you can insert on any page or post which can only help conversions

Also thought InstantAzon was good because it lets you auto load Amazon products in any particular page or post so your entire site does not end up looking like a cookie cutter site.

Thanks TrafficFlow. Do you know if InstantAzon allows you to utilize the 90-day cookie that Amazon has?

Most of them are shiny objects that add little value. Some could even damage your SEO relationship with Google.

However, I've had success with plugins like: AutoCompleteZone, AzonAuthority (theme), Covert Store Builder (theme), and WP Bounce.

There's a couple of Amazon solutions that have worked for me in the past and I have used them primarily to drive traffic to domain names that I am trying to sell. They are WPzonbuilder, Prosociate and Fresh Store Builder (this is not a wp plugin, but they have their own easy to learn platform).

I have had some success with all of them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend one to a friend. I think all 3 have an upgrade purchase where you can sell your store with the plugin included so that the buyer has complete control over the future of the site.

Hey Brendan, good to see you here. Your Youtube videos are awesome and I am learning a lot from them. Keep up the good work.

I've tried a few of them as a side to my other web sites, as an experiment. None have worked very well as they don't get organic Google traffic due to being "thin" affiliate sites with no content value. So unless you can create value-added content and drive traffic to the site through social media, it won't be successful.
