Does anyone have any experience with this system? Good or bad points?

I have set up a store with it. Good points:
    - interfaces with a decent number of affiliate stores such as amazon, ebay, overstock etc. see their list for latest
    - updates automatically
    - templates are fully customisable

    Bad points:
    - stock templates are not exciting, you need to modify them
    - you need to clear out old content periodically

There are competitive products around as well, but I have not tried them. My only experience is SS. If I was going to build a niche store now, say just sunglasses or leather bags, I would use SS again.

I tried setting up a site using StoreStacker but decided it couldn't do what I wanted it to do. I can't recall the exact problems now as it was over a year ago. What I do remember is the appalling attitude to refunds. Read their refund policy and decide whether you want to do business with people like that!

I ended up rebuilding the site as a WordPress blog and used phpBayPro and other plugins to monetize it. Easy to set up and works beautifully.
