Many people in other places have asked me how I went about getting Platinum status at Ezine Articles. Keep in mind that you cannot even request the upgrade until you have at least published 10 articles there. But, there is some other things to keep in mind when you make the request to get to Platinum. The first thing is that if you intend on getting to Platinum at this first opportunity, make sure that none of your initial 10 articles are rejected. This plays a huge role in their decision to upgrade you to platinum. If you do have a rejection, be prepared to submit another 5 to 15 articles without rejection to get to Platinum status. The next thing to keep in mind is when you request to be upgraded don't tell them that your reason is so you can submit more articles and be able to be approved quicker. Ezine Articles is all about the win/win and if you say something like that it sounds like you are just in it for yourself. When you submit your letter to them, tell them why you deserve to be upgraded (no rejections, followed the rules, etc), but then tell them how you can contribute to them. Let them know that you will be doing what you like to do (researching xyz topic), while providing them with quality content for their website. Hope that helps! |

Curtis, You are absolutely correct there. But, keep in mind that if you have alot of grammar and spelling mistakes, your article probably got rejected to begin with. But, yes for Pete's sake, check your spelling and grammar before submitting to them or you are asking for the rejection button. |

I want a good keyword researcher, not for min sites but for tech articles. Hit me up if you've got those skillz!

![]() But seriously, having been Platinum since about 2004, the OP is correct. Those first 10 determine your fate to a large extent. Get a decent spell checker, and if you know things like grammar and sentence structure are weak points, find a family member or friend and get them to proofread your articles before you submit them. The major benefit is speed of approval. I have only very rarely had to wait more than 48 hours (during weekdays) to get an article approved. If you write articles often, a good tip is to submit them in small daily batches. If you write, for example, 10 articles per week, don't submit all 10 at once. Why? Because your articles will end up competing with each other. Trust me - I've tested this ad nauseum. You will get a significantly bigger initial spike in page views and traffic if you spread out those 10 articles over 4 or 5 days. Same basic rule for higher or lower weekly volumes. I would not personally submit more than 5 on any given day in the same category. Now, let me add a caveat here. Some article marketers don't really care about the initial amount of page views and traffic. People like Sean Mize are more about getting his name out there as an authority. He doesn't care about any individual article's performance nearly as much as keeping his name in the spotlight. That's totally legit, of course. But the vast majority of us are looking to make each article count as much as possible in terms of page views and link clicks. John | |

I had a couple articles kicked back in the first 10 to fix ie extra link or to much keyword stuffing and I got approved for platinum. Good tip Zeus thanks! Article approval is fast, so that is really nice. This past weekend I rewrote about 10 of my resource boxes and they were all approved fast. |

Yeah I would say the main advantage is the speed with which articles are approved. Before you get to platinum, getting an article approved can take anywhere from like 3 to 10 days. But, with platinum, I have found it to usually be under 48 hours.

They rejected some of my articles because I mentioned things like PLR, which I wasn't supposed to do, and included an affiliate link, which I also wasn't supposed to do. Then when I reached a certain amount of articles they told me I was at my limit. I questioned this and they asked me why I thought I should be allowed to keep on submitting. I told them I thought I wrote pretty decent articles and pretty consistently. They agreed to let me keep on submitting, but told me to watch the rules. I really found them pretty annoying for a while there, but I guess they have their rules.

Yes at the beginning level you can only post 10 articles and then you have to request an upgrade. They have a pro level, but it mainly just lets you post more articles. The platinum gives you faster approval rates which is what you want. You can get pay for a faster approval level, but it can be quite expensive.

Hi Guys, If I'm already finished submitting the 10 articles you have mentioned where will I request for a platinum status? My situation is i already submitted the 10 articles and it is on Pending articles(not live - waiting approval). I 've read somewhere that you will request for being a platinum member. If so where? I cannot find it. here's the shot (attachment). Thanks guys, |

I've sent in and have 80+ articles approved with no spelling/grammar errors, but still no platinum status ![]() I think it's just the flip of the coin when it comes to getting approved. |

Honestly guys I never had to request a status upgrade, it just happened. Once I submitted a certain amount of articles I received an email about being bumped up to expert status, and then after so many more I received an email about being bumped up to platinum status. Never requested a thing. Surely this had to have happened to others? One benefit of platinum status is definitely approval speed. I think the record for me is 3 hours. |

It's easy geting a platinum status. I got one in less than 24 hours after registering. Here's what I did. 1. My articles are already posted in my site and indexed by google. 2. Register for an account in ezine. 3. Submit 10 articles within an hour after registering. 4. Make sure that the Resource box has your name in it. I created myresource box like this. ***Article Created by "my penname/name in the account" Tips to prevent Basic Plus status. 1. Make sure to spell check your articles in Word. NO grammatical errors, check for words like You're/your, It's/its, mice/nice or any of it's kind 2.Do not put any Links in the articles. Edit it after getting platinum account. 3. Also make sure that you won't use bullet points for the first 10. Use numbers like (1),(2),(3). 4. Also get rid of white spaces like indents, spaces in the bullet points etc... Ezine get's rid of indents but not the indents in the numbers and bulletpoints. This minimizes the chances of getting the article rejected. Also cuts the error and the time you use in editing the articles. The articles were approved within the next 2-3 hours. Haven't had the chance to exactly verify the time but it's that fast. I think Ezine gives priority to "0 submission or no available submissions" accounts and reviews it first. Then after 15-16 hours I got my platinum status. p.s. This is a sure way. My wife created an account using the same steps but she got a Basic plus status after 12 hours(exactly) Why? because 3 of her articles got rejected cause of the bullet points and also needs some spelling editing. Hope this helps, Rayson |
