Ok, the title is a big call, but I think this is an awesome trick, so check it out... It is about email marketing. Most autoresponders have this function, and if yours doesn't, you might want to think about changing. What you can do is send an email, wait a couple of days, then send the same email again, with a different subject, but only to the people that didn't open the first email. Think about this for a second. Why would someone not open your email... there are lots of reasons... perhaps it didn't make it through the first time for some reason, perhaps they were really busy that day, and didn't have time for none personal stuff that they otherwise would have opened... perhaps the subject line just didn't interest them? The point is, they didn't open it, so you are not going to get on thier bad side by sending it again... they didn't see it the first time. You wouldn't believe the results I have had with this. I've see no significant increase in attrition (ie. no one seems annoyed at it), but not only that, the second email will usually get very close to the same click through rate as the first one! And there is no reason you can't do a third. This little trick can literally double your profits with no real downside. Give it a try. |

Hi, It sounds like a good tricks. But, I think it take too much time doing it. Instead, maybe you should concentrate your energy to write even more and better content. bye Hugo |

I can't think of a better way to spend your time than giving yourself a second shot at everyone who turned you down first time around. They won't even get sick of you since they didin't even read email #1.

It's the 3rd or 4th time I've heard this tip in the past week, and it sounds like a great idea every time I hear it. But I've never come across this option in AWeber... Having said that, I haven't got around to looking for it yet. I'd love to hear if it's possible!

yes there is.... 1) Go to "Subscribers" and "Search" 2) In the "Field" select "Message not opened", then select your message 3) Click "Search" 4) Give the segment a name, then click "Save Segment" 5) When you go to send the email, there is a section that asks what segment, select the one you have just saved. |

I don't see "Message not opened" as an option. 3) Click "Search" 4) Give the segment a name, then click "Save Segment" 5) When you go to send the email, there is a section that asks what segment, select the one you have just saved. |

JWB... I don't know how to do it automatically (ie, within the autoresponder)... maybe everyone should partition aWeber for this |

Wasn't this exact tip the freebie video from the Perry Belcher/Ryan Deiss email marketing secrets mega launch that every guru and their moms emailed about? It's still a good tip, but it was pretty recently publicized on a massive scale, and I find it hard to believe you didn't hear it from them, since you state it almost identically. At least give a little credit, my man. But you probably don't want to distract too much attention from the launch you want us all to participate in, right? I saw your sig. It's cool. I get it. :P |
