I'm working on something that i think could really affect my niche. The problem is that I'm not a professional in that field. I'm working on a process for gluten free baking. It's not hard at all. If I wrote an ebook, it would only be at the most 15 pages. I was thinking maybe an online course would be better. The problem I'm having is that I'm not a professional cook. I just stumbled onto this method. Should I hire a food professional to test all the recipes before I publish them? I'm sort of freaking out because it solves a problem that all gluten free cooks have and none of them seem to know about. So, I thought maybe I'd write a book, but like I said, I'm not a professional cook. I don't know which way to go. If I publish what i know, somebody with a professional background could take the info, write a book, and probably make a lot of money. Should i hire a pro and publish it myself? Would it be worth it? |

Whenever I see someone mention, "What IF somebody, with more credentials than me, takes the info and runs with it?!....it reminds me of when I was first entering the arena of putting MY ideas together and selling them. It was as if that "someone" was hiding behind bushes or had put a bug in my office and was listening to my every word...or, worse yet,...able to read my mind. HOLD EVERYTHING! "They" (those that could take your idea and run with it) are too busy with THEIR stuff to pay attention to your stuff! I had to drop out of an "Inventor's Club" because almost all were so paranoid of someone stealing their idea. It's the same thing when I take my ideas and sell them to a "Niche" market. I used to think, "They can just do this themselves, why do they need to pay me?" or, "They will just steal my program and go make a jillion bux with it!" Hold everything! These so-called "Stealers of Ideas" are too busy with THEIR STUFF to bother with your stuff! Stop worrying. Also...even though you don't have "Chef Credentials" do you really need them? Can't you just present your recipes and solutions as a "thinking person"? My suggestion is to use Russell Brunson's "Continuity" idea; Get a deposit and a 6 or 12 month commitment for $29 a month and send subscribers something every week. Midas Man |

I hadn't really thought of others being too busy. The GF market is big and competitive, so that's what I've been thinking about...lol | |
