Article Page rank questions

Hey guys.

I've went through my articles one by one today to see where I'm ranking for each one I've developed my backlinks for. All my articles are from my blog. Some of the articles I have ranking are my backlink articles from ezine articles or goarticles and my actual original articles aren't even listed. What I'm trying to see is which articles I need to focus on more to bring them up to the top 3 on google. With my articles that are ranking from ezine articles and goarticles, should I start backlinking to those articles instead of backlink to my actual blog posts? I figure this would be easier to keep them on top instead of having to bring a non existent link from my blog to the top spots.

    It will be much easier to get high rankings for your articles that are posted in directories, simply because they're a part of a HUGE site.

    A couple of people I trust in this area also tell me that articles posted on Go Articles rank higher much quicker than anywhere else (even beating EZineArticles).

    So if I were you, I'd focus on getting a couple of articles on Go ranked as high as possible.

    Im focusing on SEO right now. The actual articles I've backlinked and worked on are all listed in at least first 4 pages of google. Im still learning converting to sales but Im focusing on traffic right now. I want to learn one thing at a time.

    I've definitely noticed that goarticles pops up on a front page quickly if you keyword it right without any backlinks either.

    If I see a goarticle or whatever other directory out rank my original post, Im just going to focus my backlinks to the the directory from now on. I do like to see my blog links on the front page of google though lol.
